At The Complex in Easley, SC, we believe in nurturing a love for dance from the earliest stages. Ages 3-4 start in the Tiny Foundations class. Through imaginative play and interactive exercises tailored for their formative years, these tiny dancers embark on a journey of movement, musicality, and joy in a caring and stimulating environment.
For children aged 5 to 7, we offer specialized combo classes, marrying various dance forms to provide a holistic dance education. The Little Jazz/Lyrical Combo Class melds the emotive fluidity of lyrical with the spirited energy of jazz. Simultaneously, the Little Ballet/Tap Combo Class intertwines ballet's grace with the infectious rhythms of tap. Each class is designed not just to impart dance skills but also to foster cognitive, social, and physical development in an atmosphere brimming with excitement, discovery, and encouragement.
At The Complex, every session is a step towards cultivating a genuine passion for dance. As our young dancers explore, learn, and grow, they take confident strides on their journey to becoming accomplished Complex Dancers.

LITTLE BALLET/TAP (5-7)
This class is specially designed for children between the ages of 5 and 7, providing them with a delightful introduction to the world of dance. Our Little Ballet/Tap Combo Class combines the elegance of ballet with the rhythmic fun of tap, offering a well-rounded dance experience for our young dancers. Through engaging activities, age-appropriate exercises, and creative play, we aim to nurture their passion for dance while developing fundamental skills, coordination, musicality, and self-expression. Each class will be filled with excitement, discovery, and encouragement as we focus on fostering a love for dance in a supportive environment. Your Little will be well on their way to becoming a Complex Dancer!
Girls: Leotard (any color), skirt, ballet-pink tights (pale pink), Tan mary jane tap shoes, pink canvas ballet shoes. (Leather is fine if canvas cannot be found)
Boys: boy's ballet tights, beginner dance belt, fitted solid color t-shirt, black lace up tap shoes, black canvas ballet shoes. (Leather is fine if canvas cannot be found)
*Hair must be neatly tied back and out of the face.
*No baggy clothing except for warm up
LITTLE JAZZ/LYRICAL (5-7)
This class is specially designed for children between the ages of 5 and 7, providing them with a delightful introduction to the world of dance. Our Little Jazz/Lyrical Combo Class combines the emotion of lyrical with the high energy movement of jazz, offering a well-rounded dance experience for our young dancers. Through engaging activities, age-appropriate exercises, and creative play, we aim to nurture their passion for dance while developing fundamental skills, coordination, musicality, and self-expression. Each class will be filled with excitement, discovery, and encouragement as we focus on fostering a love for dance in a supportive environment. Girls: Fitted clothing (leggings, shorts, cropped tops, leotards, fitted tanks etc.), Tan jazz shoes (split sole), clean sneakers.
Boys: Fitted clothing (athletic shorts/pants, tanks, t-shirts) black jazz shoes (split sole), clean sneakers.
*Hair must be neatly tied back and out of the face.
*No baggy clothing except for warm up
Tiny (3-4)
Tiny Dance Foundations is a creative and engaging introductory dance class designed for children aged 3 to 4 years old. This course aims to provide young dancers with a fun and nurturing environment to explore movement, develop coordination, enhance musicality, and foster a love for dance. Through imaginative play, interactive exercises, and age-appropriate activities, students will develop fundamental dance skills while also promoting their cognitive, social, and physical development.
Girls: Any color leotard, skirt (optional), ballet pink tights, black patent leather tap shoes (no ribbon buckle or velcro is preferred), pink canvas ballet shoes (leather is fine if canvas cannot be found), clean sneakers.

Boys: Athletic shorts/sweatpants, fitted solid color t-shirt, black lace up tap shoes, black canvas ballet shoes (leather is fine if canvas cannot be found) , clean sneakers.
